Cautions for the use of V-belt: 

For various types of triangular belts, rosin or viscous substances should not be applied. Pollution of engine oil, butter, diesel oil and gasoline should also be prevented. Otherwise, triangular belts will be corroded and their service life will be shortened. The groove of the triangular belt should not be greased, otherwise it will  slip.

General V Belt( the former Triangle Belt) is a driving-belt whose cross-section is a isosceles trapezoid, with two side-faces as it working face.
